Brandon Wellcome

I’m Brandon, husband of Kristy, coffee freak, music fan. You might also call me a restless, growing, questioning, in-process follower of The Christ who is dissatisfied with the status quo - but hopefully only in similar ways to the One I try awkwardly to pattern my life after.

Depending on the author, blogging can be a rather transparent, vulnerable thing. When you read through my thoughts, it’s pretty close to what I might say if you and I were engaged in a heart-to-heart discussion in a Dublin coffee shop as we sip our Americanos. Don’t worry. I probably won’t get honest or transparent enough to make you blush or anything.

Kristy and I joined our individual journeys together when we were married on 9 December, 2005. Since August of 2006, we’ve resided in Dublin, Ireland, hoping to link arms with like-minded spiritual pilgrims in order to announce and demonstrate the in-breaking of another world. We were joined by our beautiful daughter, Caitlyn, in September of 2007.

We don’t have all the answers (as you’ll quickly discover reading through the blog), but I’m okay with that. It’s just as much about the journey as it is the destination.
